Deputy Country Director (Programmes) - Sudan

Based in Khartoum
We are seeking a Deputy Country Director – Programmes to assist the Country Director in the leadership and management of the operational work, with responsibility for the successful design, implementation and monitoring of projects, focusing on the delivery of Tearfund’s outcome 4 (disasters responded to) within the country strategy, while ensuring projects reflect Tearfund Quality Standard commitments. The DCD (Programmes) manages the Area Coordinators and Sector Advisors, represents Tearfund externally and has delegated responsibility for security management within the country strategy.
The successful candidate will have proven strategic planning and emergency programme and project management experience in a humanitarian environment. The successful candidate will also have proven people and budget management experience.
