ABOUT THE JOB:
For our head office in Hamburg/Germany we are currently looking for an open-minded and versatile Consultant (m/f) to join our FSD department , who will contribute towards achieving the company's objectives.
The Consultant will be responsible for project managmeent, aquisition and strategic business development in the area of financial systems development with a particular focus on the field of small business lending and agrifinance.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Leading the aquisition process of new projects , including elaboration and coordination of technical and financial proposals;
- Establishing and maintaining regular professional contacts and networking with clients, partners and experts;
- Fully responsible management of projects and studies (backstopping);
- Technical short term consultancy missions, including feasibility and project preparatory studies;
- Writing of reports, concepts and presentations.
Qualifications:
- University degree (Master);
- 3 years of relevant experience related to small business and agrifinance, banking, private sector and rural development in the context of development cooperation;
- Full proficiency in written and spoken English and German;
- Familiarity with the German (GIZ, KfW) and European (EBRD, EIB, EU) development sector;
- Willingness to frequent travel abroad.
