About the project
Supervision of the detailed design and construction of 95 kilometers of secondary and tertiary water supply network and 21,000 household connections in Huambo. The construction works of the water network will include excavation, laying of pipes with all accessories and back filling, and includes testing and commissioning. Most of the network will be constructed through manual excavation, with diameters ranging from DN63 – DN315, with the exception of an extension of less than 1km coming out of the distribution center, which will be made through mechanical excavation (DN700).
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor degree in Environmental /Civil//Sanitary engineering
- At least four years post qualification working experience in environmental management of supply, distribution and sanitation networks Works
It would be advantageous to have;
- Licence/post-graduate degree in Environmental/Civil//Sanitary engineering
- Should have good computer skills
- Fluency in both written and spoken English
- Experience in the Region - working experience in Angola will be a plus
- Working level of fluency in local language(s)
- Knowledge of local culture or administrative system and government organisation
