Duties:
The person will be responsible to:
- Set up Asset Management function for the Country.
- Set up all Asset management processes and ensure project onboarding
- Ensure timely billing and collection of energy revenue, subsidies any other revenue/benefits from relevant authorities/off taker. Report any deviation and ensure a recovery plan.
- Achieve all statutory/local, compliance requirement and drive and establish sound corporate governance in the company.
- Manage vendors, all commercial transactions with vendors, A/P and warranty claims.
- Ensure internal and statutory audits are done on time, tax management and report financial performance to required entities.
- Set up costing models and drive and monitor cost optimization initiatives
Other Competencies
-Knowledge of Solar/Renewable energy related policies
-Knowledge of financial closure, non-recourse project finance of solar/renewable energy projects
-Managing multiple entities, stake holders and government/semi government agencies
-Setting up new organization/function and build a strong team and processes in a learning organization/managing lack of clarity.
Requirements:
-MBA Finance/Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor's degree in engineering would be an advantage (not must)
-8 -10 years' experience in related field and 2 years experience in managerial position.
-Experience in asset management in Solar/Renewables will be an advantage.
