We are seeking an outstanding and deeply credible Chief Executive to develop and drive the delivery of Practical Action’s vision and strategy for the future. The Chief Executive will be responsible for leading our global operations and activities . S/he will play a key role as an ambassador for Practical Action internationally, developing relationships with key stakeholders and partners, brokering Practical Action’s role in alliances and consortia, raising funds, and building a strong profile and reputation for Practical Action.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong track record of strategic leadership and effective management, exceptional personal credibility and the ability to influence at the highest level. S/he will be an inspiring and engaging individual with a sound understanding of international development. In addition, s/he must demonstrate excellent communication, networking and relationship building skills as well as a genuine passion for, and commitment to, the aims and values of Practical Action.
