Senior Education Staff

by Unknown  |  at  4:36 AM

If you are an experienced international educational development professional and have a passion for making a lasting difference for women, children and adolescents, UNICEF wants to hear from you!

UNICEF has recently adopted its 2014-2017 Strategic Plan, which includes four key priorities for education: learning outcomes, early learning, equity, and education in emergencies. In order to implement the Strategic Plan, UNICEF is enhancing its senior level expertise at Country, Regional and Headquarters levels and is recruiting the following profiles for its Education Talent Group at the P-5 level, which are as follows:
  • Chiefs of Education
  • Regional Education Advisers
  • Senior Education Advisers
What are Talent Groups?
Talent Groups at UNICEF are exclusive lists of pre-vetted, highly qualified professionals intended to fast-track the recruitment process as positions become available. After a rigorous selection process, successful candidates who apply will be placed in a Talent Group at the P-5 level. While placement in a Talent Group does not guarantee a position with UNICEF, it is an important resource for filling P-5 level vacancies for Chiefs of Education, Regional Education Advisors and Senior Education Advisors as they become available.
For more information regarding key expected results for each position and detailed information on the desired competencies of successful candidates, and to apply for the Education Talent Group at the P-5 level, please click here by the deadline of 30 June 2015 (11:59 p.m. EST). Please note that only short-listed candidates will be contacted.
