We are seeking a permanent IT Systems Developer to join the team and take on the challenge of working on the IT integration, development and deployment for Tearfund’s international finance systems.
You will be joining Tearfund at a busy and exciting time. During the first 12 months (minimum), your activities will include:
- Working with other members of the Global Finance Systems (GFS) project team to design solutions for the GFS project which meet the real needs of the business
- Within the wider IT team develop data capture facilities, automation of data import into the backend accounting system and reporting solutions for both UK and remote offices
- Developing mechanism to transfer and import data from input screens to back-end systems
- Involvement in the new reporting mechanism to enable on-demand reporting for local users and report requests and distribution for remote users
You will have proven software development experience working in a project team. You will have worked on multi-discipline projects and have a experience of a variety of software engineering techniques/tools. All applicants must be committed to Tearfund’s Christian beliefs.
Tearfund offers a 10% non-contributory pension as standard.
