Who we’re looking for
Are you a market facing chartered surveyor with a proven track record in delivering transactions and asset management?
If so, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our Business Recovery Services team based in Leeds, working across the north.

About the role
We are a national team of 10 Chartered Surveyors, providing strategic real estate advice to clients from a diverse range of sectors. We provide advice on all property sectors, across all geographies in the UK. This position will require real estate expertise primarily within insolvency and turnaround assignments. You will provide advice on creating solutions to maximise value from property assets in both distressed and non-distressed scenarios.

As a Senior Manager, you will need to undertake work-winning activity to generate further opportunities and revenues from existing clients and new opportunities outside the firm. This will include;
  • Establishing, building and maintaining strong relationships; with other parts of the firm, new and existing clients and intermediaries/external provider.
  • Identifying opportunities to develop further work streams both inside and outside of our business.
  • Managing a portfolio of assignments, prioritising work requirements
  • Develop an understanding of other real estate services that we offer and ensure these are utilised, where appropriate.
Assignments will require you to:
  • Create and implement value add asset management strategies to include lettings, lease re-gears, development/refurbishment and alternative use investigation.
  • Work with ‘best in class’ external agents to market properties for sale within both insolvency and non-insolvency assignments.
  • Appoint and manage external professional teams including agents, valuers, solicitors and other advisers to provide the most appropriate property advice for assignments.
  • Consult with other internal teams to provide connected thinking on property assignments.
Requirements
  • A strong existing network of agency, banking and corporate contacts in the local property market and a desire to develop this further.
  • Experience in client delivery is essential and knowledge of insolvency procedures is preferable.
  • Strong commercial acumen and communication skills.
  • MRICS qualification.
