by Unknown  |  at  2:13 AM

Communications Specialist, Girl Effect Ethiopia

Girl Effect Ethiopia wants to build up and invest in our Communications Department, with a new and improved Communications Strategy for our brand, Yegna, and our organisation. We are looking for an experienced communications professional to work with an international communications expert setting up the department and strategy, with a view to developing into the Comms Manager role over time.
Reporting to the Communications Manager, the Girl Effect Ethiopia Comms Specialist will work with the Communications team in Ethiopia and London to set and guide the strategy for all communications, public relations, messages and collateral to consistently articulate Yegna and Girl Effect Ethiopia’s mission.
The Comms Specialist role is to champion our work to the right audiences, in the right way, at the right time, with the right message to ensure the maximum impact of our work. We have different audiences for every element of our work – ranging from rural girls in Amhara, to internal stakeholders, to the top levels of government. This role is critical to making Yegna’s ambitions a reality, and requires drive, determination and clear thinking.
The closing date for applications has been extended to 18 November 2016.
