Candidate will be responsible for implementing sales and service strategy, as well as developing Sales and Services business in Western Africa Area through comprehensive understanding of local businesses for Mining and Construction.

Activities/Responsibilities in brief:
Strategy process and targets
- Operates businesses and Executes sales/service strategy in the Sales Area within the boundaries and priorities set by client.
- Brings Sales Area perspective to strategy development and action planning.
- Actively participates in level discussions and decision making
Operations / Sales and services
- Leads sales and service organization
- Setting sales priorities and splitting targets, as well as Analysing new distribution opportunities for Sales Area
- Identifies and acts on the new possibilities for service business and implements new service concepts
- Participates in critical customer negotiations including complex commercial discussions when needed
Supporting functions
- Gathers market intelligence from the countries and distributes it as appropriate
- Provides perspectives from the Sales Area on customer needs to the Market Area
- Local stakeholder management
Interfaces in the Sales Area:
- Local customers /Regional customers
- Governments and other local public institutions
- Local/Regional partners where it applies
- Mining Universities relationships
Desired Skills and Experience
Requirements:
- Must have MSc in Mechanical or Mining Engineering qualification
- 5-10 years’ experience in Mining and/or Quarry Sales and Service
- Should have supervised - 50 employees
- Worked in a multinational company
- Work in West Africa which include traveling
