A brief overview
The main functions of this position cover inter alia:
Propose a taxonomy of possible interactions with Development Finance Institutions (DFI) and other financial institutions; support the design of attractive and possibly differentiated partnership schemes to establish working modalities and areas of interest with inputs from technical branches. Contribute in this context to the development and operationalization of the Integrated Partnership Strategy with main focus on interactions with DFIs and other financial institutions.
Facilitate knowledge management and serve as an ongoing source of information on UNIDO’s experience and current partnerships with DFIs and other financial institutions in UNIDO’s priority regions (Knowledge Management and Communication).
Minimum Requirements
Education:
University - Master's degree or equivalent, in finance, development economics, business law or related field.
UNIDO Languages:
English (Fluent), working knowledge of Spanish and/or French is an additional asset.
Field of Expertise:
A minimum of five years working experience in development finance either in government or in multi or bilateral development finance institutions.
