The Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) is seeking to appoint a Director for a three-year renewable term. DIAC is the largest arbitration institution in the MENA region. Headquartered in Dubai, DIAC provides world-class dispute resolution services to the business community in the region and beyond. The Director is DIAC's most senior executive officer, reporting directly to its Board of Trustees. Leading a multicultural team of case managers with a legal background and multidisciplinary executives, the Director has overall responsibility for DIAC's case management capabilities, administrative internal matters, undertakes institutional development initiatives, coordinates training and outreach programs, and develops DIAC's relationship with its diverse stakeholder community. This position is suitable for a lawyer preferably with a post-graduate degree specialized in arbitration and significant arbitration experience gained in private practice or in government. The successful candidate would demonstrate fluency in English, proven leadership capabilities, and strong management skills. Prior experience working in an arbitral institution or an international organization would be an asset, as would strong command of Arabic.
