It’s hard to believe that today 748 million people still don’t have clean, safe water and 2.5 billion live without a toilet. The resulting diseases kill one child every minute.
WaterAid is looking to fill the following position in our Liberia office to play a vital role in our mission of transforming lives through provision of safe water, sanitation and hygiene in the world’s poorest and vulnerable communities.
This position will be based in the WaterAid Liberia/Sierra Leone Country Office in Monrovia, Liberia.
The jobholder will be responsible for day-to-day HR and Admin operations and implementation of WaterAid stipulated health & safety procedures in the country programme, giving 60%:40% of their time to HR and Administrative support respectively.
The Human Resource & Administrative Officer will be a vital member of WaterAid global HR network and as such will be expected to participate in relevant fora for HR people in WaterAid as a global organisation.

WaterAid started operations in Liberia and Sierra Leone (under a single Transboundary programme ) since April 2009, with its country office in Monrovia-Liberia. The programme aims to work in the poorest communities in both countries to ensure access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene - 3 districts in Sierra Leone (Pujehun, Kenema and Bonthe) with a field office in BO. Our operations in Liberia are located in Grand Cape Mount, Maryland, Grand Kru and River Gee.
