Minimum requirements :
- University degree or equivalent experience
- One year work experience in project cycle management: identification, formulation, execution, evaluation and justification
- One year work experience in management, coordination, organization and planning local staff team
- Familiar with the guidelines of main funders, like AECID, ECHO; UE…
- Work experience in economic-financial field.
- Familiar with the Logical Framework Approach.
- Training courses in International Cooperation
- Written and Spoken C1 level of French and Spanish (a test shall be performed).
- Working knowledge of Windows environment (Microsoft Office, Internet, …)ü Work experience managing projects developed in Africa.
- Experience in Water and Sanitation projects - WATSAN
- Familiar with Community development issues
- Understanding of SRC procedures and tools within international cooperation
- Knowledge and/or work experience within the Red Cross and Red Crescent International Movement, or Spanish Red Cross
- Specific training in the Movement: IMPACT course or similar.
- Be SRC employee or volunteer.
Key functions: - Implementing the project: “Improvement of the hygienic-sanitary conditions of children at school and home environments at Comuna V, in Niamey”.
- Implementing the project: “Prevention, detection and treatment of moderate acute malnutrition with a community approach in Guidan Roumdji Department, Maradi region”.
- Coordinating, supervising and executing the neccesary actions to the succesful implementation of additional projects pending to be approved
- Supporting the RC of Niger in finding other sources of financing their different programmes
- Supporting the RC of Niger in the implementation, monitoring, justification and closure of projects carried out by Spanish Red Cross and Niger Red Cross
- Identification and formulation of proyects in different regions of Niger.
- Represent the Spanish Red Cross in relation to UE, ECHO, United Nations, Spanish Embassy- AECID, other National Societies, and different donors in the country.
- Managing the budget, justification (sources of verification and economical-finantial documents) and preparation of technical repports (in French and Spanish) of the projects under your responsibility according to the internal SRC and donors formats and procedures
- Coordinating with other delegates in the country and giving the required support to visitors, partners and sponsors of SRC or RC Movement when requested.
- Preparing the arrival to other delegates in relation to accommodation and visa processing.
- Planning a work strategy for SRC in Niger appropiate to the mileu and capacities of our counterpart.
