Background:
|
The
Study shall make available information to concretize the preliminary project
ideas and to allow for the appraisal of two projects in the Egyptian TVET
sector. The Study is divided in two parts:
A. “Centres of Excellence in TVET” incl. constructing and equipping a TVET school in renewable energies (RE) for educating technicians and skilled workers needed in the RE sector. The Center shall contribute to better income and employment perspectives of youth in Egypt. B. “Promotion of TVET”. Evaluation of 3 potential ideas: (i) setting up a second TVET school (e.g. for RE or another sector needed by the Egyptian industry), (ii) setting up a cross-company training center for small and medium enterprises to send their TVET students for practical training or (iii) rehabilitation of existing TVET schools. |

Description: |
·
General problem identification, needs analysis of Egyptian
labour market and TVET sector, labour market analysis providing guidance for
future areas of interventions;
·
Two project design studies resulting in feasible
implementation concepts for 2 sections (Section A and B)
·
Presentation of results to client and stakeholders in a
workshop for decision making,
·
Develop implementation concept.

|
Candidate's
profile:
|
·
Relevant university degree,
·
Experience in evaluation of projects/programs
·
Knowledge of KfW policies in implementation of projects
·
Knowledge of German Financial Cooperation principles
·
Well experienced in the execution of feasibility studies.
Besides
candidates should cover one or more of the following areas of expertise:
·
Experience in TVET,
·
Demand and market analysis,
·
Capacity building and project management
·
Management of TVET Centres, HRM, strategic development,
financial management, etc.,
·
Renewable energies in TVET
