The position will facilitate the development of an effective supplies and logistic management system for health and nutrition commodities (procured by UNICEF) and ensure capacity development of partners (Ministry of Health and NGOS where appropriate) with the end objective of ensuring that essential health and nutrition commodities are available and at all times, in sufficient quantity and quality and are efficiently utilized to facilitate results for children (treatment of severe acute malnutrition and common childhood diseases) .
