Field Research Coordinator-ComPAS (Combined Protocol for Acute Malnutrition Study)

providing overall management, coordination and technical oversight of the field work in South Sudan for an operational research project aimed to develop a combined protocol for the treatment of Severe and Moderate Acute Malnutrition (Combined Protocol for Acute Malnutrition Study – ComPAS)

Key activities in your role will include:

  • Supporting in the finalisation of protocols for Research Study including research questionnaires and other tools as necessary.Lead field-level pre-testing in-country and refine tools.
  • Management of the entire project cycle for ther Research study including Planning, budgeting, close monitoring and review as well as analysis and regular reporting.
  • Overall responsibility for ComPAS project budget related to operational expenses in South Sudan. Perform and monitor budget spending in line with spending plan; ensure diligence in grants utilization including timely spending and value for mone
  • Recruitment, train and manage the team required to carry out the research study. Provide on-site support to the team and ensure quality of data collection
  • Establish and develop key relationships with MoH and other external -internal stakeholders as necessary to ensure succesful completion of the project

You’re a seasoned Research and Analysis expert with Technical understanding of Community-based Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM)
  • You have a Master’s of Arts of Science or higher in International Development, Humanitarian Assistance, Rural Development, Social Sciences or related studies
  • You have prior experience with quantitative and qualitative data collection at field level, along with qualitative data analysis and reporting
  • At least three years of experience in project or research management in developing countries with national or international partners
