Trading Information Desks (TID) Coordinator.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced professionals for the post of Trading Information Desks (TID) Coordinator.
Objectives of the Task
Each Trade Information Desk officer serves to aid in a freer movement of cross border traders across borders by providing them with necessary services including information and documents that facilitate their trade. The officer also plays a monitoring role for the implementation of the simplified trade regime as a procedure that allows small traders to benefit from the preferential trade in the COMESA region. The Trade Information Desk Officer will also help to resolve disputes between traders and officials as well as collect relevant data and statistics.
The main task of the TID Coordinator is to ensure efficient coordination among all trade information desk officers of COMESA in sharing of information on trading procedures, markets for cross border trade and consolidation of all monitoring reports from various border points highlighting achievements in the indicators of smooth STR implementation.
