As a strategic corporate venture fund, Randstad Innovation Fund (“RIF”) has been building a portfolio of HR technology investments. RIF invests in premier companies, which are at the forefront of technology or transforming the talent acquisition and workforce management industry, boosting external innovation within the Randstad Group. The goal is to combine Randstad’s expertise and reach with entrepreneurial spirit and technological excellence. RIF has invested in 12 portfolio companies since its launch in March 2014, of which 8 are based in the USA. Investments range between € 1 and 5M for the initial round.

Purpose of the job:
RIF is currently looking for an Analyst. Reporting to the Managing Partners of the Randstad Innovation Fund, main responsibilities are to:
- research and qualify market segments
- identify and analyse investment targets and
- prepare and present materials on the HR tech space and investment targets.
Key activities:
- Conduct market research and gain market insights,
- Monitor a pipeline of HR tech startups, arrange and participate in calls and meetings, write reports
- Select companies to meet at HR conferences and to proactively pursue,
- Co-develop comprehensive financial models and appropriate quantitative and qualitative metrics,
- Assist in preparing investment proposals for the Investment Committee,
- Assist with due diligence process related to new investments,
- Assist in preparing internal and external presentations on the HR tech space
Key Relationships:
- Part of an international, diverse and experienced team
- Interactions with startups, and thought leaders in the HR tech space
- Connections with the global Randstad organization at several levels
Qualifications:
- Master degree preferably in economics or computer science,
- Passion for new business models and technology,
- Working experience of 1-3 years,
- Excellent communication skills in English (speaking & writing),
- Knowledge of another European language would be preferred.
