The Red Cross Movement is at the forefront of the humanitarian response in the Middle East and North Africa region, working inside Syria and the surrounding countries. We are looking for a livelihoods and cash-based assistance delegate who will ensure the provision of high-quality technical and advisory services to both response and resilience programmes, supporting vulnerable communities through the actions of our Red Cross Movement partners.
You will be on a 12-month contract, based in Lebanon, and work collaboratively with partners, IFRC and ICRC in different teams in the region and help build the capacity of partner national societies within the relevant technical areas, contributing to their organisational development as leading national humanitarian organisations.
The successful candidate will have:
- Excellent practical, technical and programme management skills
- Strong relationship management and communication skills, including remote relationship building skills to facilitate engagement and information flow between the different field and HQ teams
- Good professional strategic analysis, assessment, programme design and planning skills
