An innovative leader with strategic oversight is needed for the key position of Business & Systems Manager based in Liberia to work on resource management, in a fast-moving and challenging transitional period where Oxfam Great Britain and Ibis are merging to become one Oxfam.
The Role
The role is a senior management post reporting to the Oxfam International Country Director and a member of the country management team (CMT). This role provides strategic leadership in the areas of finance, logistics, counter fraud advisory and information systems. In addition, this role offers a unique challenge that requires an individual with an exceptional set of skills and experience to lead and motivate people in changing values based organisation with the ability to lead and enable a large multi-discipline team.
The Person
You will have a proven expertise in strategic financial management and significant exposure in logistics, counter fraud or compliance risk management, programme information and information systems management. Drive to lead change in a challenging environment will be an asset. You’ll bring us an aptitude for strategic thinking and a talent for improving operational performance in this transitional phase. Beyond that, you’ll show a real commitment to achieving Oxfam’s vision and values as part of a team. So you’ll be confident building relationships at every level and have the communication and management skills needed to get great results and influence others tactfully and diplomatically.
