As Operations Manager (OM) - Central African Republic you will report directly to the Response Manager and he will lead a team of professional level staff to oversee operations Central African Republic (CAR) Humanitarian Response. You will oversee the Operations Team, providing direction, oversight and coordination to ensure that all programs are implemented to achieve desired results while adhering to humanitarian, donor and World Vision International (WVI) standards, processes and budgets.
Requirements include:
- A university degree or equivalent experience preferably in Project/Operations Management, business administration, social sciences, technical studies or related fields.
- 5 years of experience in a developing country, preferably countries with similar context to CAR, in implementing or managing Disaster Response and Preparedness programs in any field related to water, sanitation, food security and Non
- Food Item intervention as well as protection: involving assessments, design, planning, implementation, budgeting, reporting, and evaluation and monitoring.
- Strongly prefer fluency in French and English (written, oral).
- HEAT certified or other equivalent security training.
- Proficiency in written and oral French and English. (preferred)
