Terms of Reference for Documentating Lessons Learnt for the Programme: Strengthening Universal Access to HIV and Social Protection Services to Prevent and Mitigate the Impact of HIV and AIDS and Poverty in Sub-Saharan Africa (2011-2015)
- Background
The Africa Platform for Social Protection (APSP) is a pan African network of organizations operating at grassroots, national and regional levels, with a commitment to promoting and strengthening the social contract between states and citizens. To achieve this, the APSP promotes active engagement of National Platforms in the shaping of Social Protection policies, programmes and practices in Africa.
The APSP has been implementing the programme Strengthening Universal Access to HIV and Social Protection Services to Prevent and Mitigate the Impact of HIV and AIDS and Poverty in Sub-Saharan Africa over five years in about 26 countries. Several lessons and experiences have been generated that can inform future interventions by the governments in Africa, development partners, regional bodies and CSOs.
2.0 Purpose of the Assignment
The Africa Platform for Social Protection (APSP) is seeking to recruit a Consultant to conduct a desk review to:
- Document lessons learnt
- Identify and profile good practices as well as case studies
- Identify some of the key outstanding outcomes, such as policy influencing and appealing stories for advocacy3.0 Expected OutputA detailed report free of jargon, clearly capturing the three above issues.Interested parties are requested to submit their bid to info@africapsp.org by the close of business on 5th July 2016
