Role overview
This role will develop a livelihoods programme that seeks to empower women and youth gain life skills for sustainable peace and development in South Sudan in line with VSO's global framework on agribusiness value chain and Empowered Youth for Employment and Entrepreneurship (EYEE).
Skills, qualifications and experience required
  • You have a minimum of master's degree in development studies or any other relevant field
  • Proven experience in livelihoods for youth and women programming in developing countries
  • Excellent lobbying, networking and communication skills;
  • Good command of both spoken and written English;
  • Strong peoples skills, open mindedness and persuasive personality;
  • Experience working in a conflict context is desirable.
