FDC Co-ordinator FOR MENA ( MIDDLE EAST AND NORTH AFRICA (MENA) REGION)

Position title: Funds development and Communications Co-ordinator
Working location: Casablanca - Morocco
Continent and Region: CO MENA
Mission of the position:
Responsible of support guidance and coaching to Member Associations (MAs) to get the fundraising goals and objectives, increasing the levels of local funding.
General aim of the position:
  • Work with each Head of function, to give guidance, answer questions, perform control guidelines and patterns generation business analysis
  • Generating meetings remotely or on site to review the business model, review of KPIs, analyze teamwork and identify market and funding opportunities
  • Supporting the process of positioning this area with the rest of the organization, encouraging reporting to the National Direction in each Association, as Regional Advisor creating links with the National Directors and Board to convey the importance of supporting the local fundraising, seeking opportunities available inside of SOS Children Villages and also finding externally alliance to enhance the execution of the strategies outlined
  • Increase the brand position and communication skills
  • Increase the capacity of local teams to get the best results in local funding.

Key performance areas and main responsibilities: [max. 5-6]
  • Support and encourage the implementation of strategic objectives in the National Association in the area fundraising and communications
  • Support capacity building of human resources and management of knowledge
  • Support the development of common concepts:
  • Research, collect and systematize information on marketing, public relations and fundraising
  • Assisted in coordinating the development of common products more optimal for fundraising
  • Promotes and disseminates good practice and successful concepts in the MA
  • Ensure the implementation of brand development
  • Support and ensure communication and proper information management
Profile
Experience
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an assistant role, proven ability to multi task.
· Experience working in the MENA region
Skills & Knowledge
· Microsoft outlook, excel, PowerPoint, word. Experience in minute taking. Experience in research and data collection.
· Capacity to build and maintain relationships and to work effectively in a multicultural and multi-ethnic environment respecting diversity.
Languages
· Fluency in English and Arabic with excellent writing and speaking skills is required.
· French is also desired.
Qualifications
· Master’s degree in communication, business Administration, development studies, international cooperation, or a related field is required
