SOS Children’s Villages is a non-governmental social development organisation, focusing on the care and support of orphaned and vulnerable children. We seek a dynamic individual who is committed to working for a global humanitarian organisation.
As a French translation intern, you will assist the French translator (who is based in France) by providing French and occasionally English translations, as well as editing and proofreading services for the General Secretariat and member associations. You will receive training and feedback on your work and will gain experience in the international NGO sector.

Competences
You are a native French speaker preparing a degree in translation (with fluent English). A knowledge of Spanish is desired.
Experience with computer assisted translation software is also an asset. Experience in the NGO/development sector desirable.
You are organized, reliable, punctual, accurate, a good team player and have experience working in a multicultural environment.
