About the role
We’re looking for an environmental/ climate economist to support our expanding advisory business working with governments, donor agencies and businesses around the world on sustainability & climate change
Experience of working in developing and emerging economies is key, along with a track record of consultancy experience with governments, business and international development agencies.

Essential skills and experience
- Strong economic modelling skills
- Technical expertise in some/most of the following areas: low carbon development, carbon markets and pricing, energy transition, infrastructure, and sustainable land use.
- Experience of working in developing and emerging economies
- Consultancy experience with government and international development agencies
- Good communication skills,
- Project management skills.
Desirable skills and experience
- Sector experience in low carbon energy transitions
- Knowledge of carbon markets and wider low carbon policy interventions.
- A Masters degree in Economics
The role will be based out of London but will require some degree of international travel on project assignments.
It would suit someone who has a passion for sustainability and climate change and is building their career on this discipline. You will be quick to learn and enjoy working as part of a team
