Dexis is seeking a local Interpreter in Ghana to provide short-term interpretation support to the Coastal Sustainable Landscapes Project (CSLP) in Ghana. The consultant will provide consecutive English and Twiinterpretation for short-term technical consultants in the field sites.
Responsibilities
- Review activity work plan and related documents to ensure sufficient understanding of the project goals in order to provide effective interpretation services
- Provide consecutive interpretation between technical experts and project participants to ensure technical experts fully understand the data being collected and participants have full understanding of information being shared.
- Provide ad-hoc translation of any documentation as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience providing professional consecutive interpretation services
- Professional fluency in written and spoken English and Twi
- An understanding of agriculture, natural resource management, WASH or related development projects
