Senior Advisors, Policy (x2)

The Financial Services Commission regulates the financial services industry in Gibraltar, providing effective and efficient regulation to promote good business, protect consumers, and enhance Gibraltar’s reputation as a quality financial centre.
The Senior Advisors, Policy will report to the Director of Legal Enforcement and Policy. They will inform and support the development and delivery of GFSC’s strategy through the provision of financial services regulatory policy analysis, and will work cross-functionally to drive the continuous improvement and implementation of policy. The senior advisors will have a particularly important role to play in considering the impact of, and Gibraltar’s approach to, Brexit.
GFSC are looking for individuals with specialist expertise in financial services regulatory policy work, and strong experience in developing policy in a risk-based regulator, public body or academic institution. The preferred candidates will have a track record of making reliable policy decisions based on sound, evidence-based judgement and analysis of complex risk-based regulatory issues.
