DFID is strengthening its support to the livelihoods sector in Rwanda. Existing work includes: supporting the Government of Rwanda (GoR) latest agricultural strategy; improving the commercialisation of agriculture; addressing food security and nutrition concerns and; promoting climate resilience. DFID Rwanda is looking for an experienced Livelihoods, Food Security and Nutrition Adviser to help expand this work.
You will play a key role in both delivering existing commitments and helping to shape future DFID and GoR programmes on agriculture, food security, nutrition and livelihoods programmes. As the successful candidate you will join our Economic Growth Team (EGT), which is responsible for developing and implementing programmes to support economic growth in Rwanda in line with DFID Rwanda’s Operational Plan.
