The Health & Education Advice & Resource Team (HEART) is a knowledge management resource centre responding to the information and technical assistance needs of DFID's human development (Health and Education) advisers. It provides a rapid response research service, online document library, topic guides, and other knowledge support services.

The position of the Health and Education Research Officer is exciting and unusual, providing a bridge between academic experts and those working in donor agencies and government policy departments. It offers experience in and exposure to development policy and research at the highest level. It may be of particular interest to those considering a career in policy-based research, development agencies, or non-governmental organisations.

Salary range: Grade 6 (£24,542 - £36,658) per annum
