OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION
Assist in the issuance of all security equipment and supplies, general supply equipment such as office equip, supplies, spares, consumables as appropriate from the general Supply Unit to the sectors, region ad sections within the mission
GENERAL FUNCTIONS
Role objective:
Participate in the implementation of procedures to ensure that requests for supplies are properly reviewed
Expected output:
Technical survey visits to regions.
Project reporting:
Provide support to the implementation of internal inventory management.
Team management:
High school diploma or equivalent.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
Education:
§ Diploma in Logistics.
Work experience:
§ Minimum of 1 year of demonstrable relevant Logistics experience.
Geographical experience:
§ Minimum of 1 years of experience in Africa with local experience in Somalia is an advantage.
Languages:
§ Fluency in English is essential.
Key competencies:
maintaining accurate and complete accounting, reporting and all electronic hard copy records
Other relevant information:
technical or vocational certificates in logistics, supply chain management, business admin or related fields
