TRAINING SPECIALIST (AVIATION SAFETY AND SECURITY)

This is a short term assignment on the Papua New Guinea - Australia Transport Sector Support Program (TSSP). TSSP, managed by SMEC, is an Australian aid project funded by the Australian Government. The shared long-term development goal of both governments for TSSP is a safer, more reliable transport system which enables economic and social development in PNG.
The purpose of this role is to identify the long term training needs of Civil Aviation Safety Authority of Papua New Guinea's (CASA PNG) regulatory service personnel and develop a long term training plan.
The successful candidate will conduct a training needs analysis focused on CASA PNG’s regulatory service functions and then produce a strategic training plan. CASA PNG intends to use the strategic training plan as the basis for identifying and obtaining suitable training for inspectorate staff.

HOW TO APPLY:
This position is a short term input for up to 60 days and is classified as Discipline Group C, Level 3 under the Australian Government's Adviser Remuneration Framework (ARF). Further details are available on the TSSP website.
