Doctors with Africa CUAMM is the first NGO in the healthcare area officially recognized in Italy. Founded in 1950 with the aim of training doctors to work in developing countries, actually CUAMM is working in Angola, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda implementing healthcare projects in partnership with local governments and institutions.

REQUIREMENTS
- University Degree in Medicine and Surgery with further specialisation or equivalent title in Paediatrics, Internal Medicine, Tropical Medicine
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English
- Solid experience in paediatrics and neonatology
- Previous experience in Paediatrics Developing Countries **
PROJECT OBJECTIVES
- Guaranteeing quality obstetrics, neonatal and child services – including nutrition - in the hospital
- Contribute to improvement of health staff’ technical skills
KEY DUTIES

- guarantee the good functioning of Paediatric Ward and Stabilization Centre for malnourished children
- collaborate with the others doctors in order to ensure the functioning of the hospital in all its components, including on call availability
- contribute to the good functioning of Health Information System in the Maternity Hospital
- collaborate to training on the job and Continuing Medical Education of health staff of the Hospital and of the BEmONC centres of Pujehun District
