DESCRIPTION
The Ghana Private Sector Development Facility (GPSDF) intends to apply part of its budgetary allocation to undertake raising-awareness initiative of its Projects nationwide.
The Ghana Private Sector Development Facility (GPSDF) is a programme co-funded by the Italian Government in favour of the Government of Ghana. The initiative has been implemented through a 20-million euros credit line aimed at supporting the Small and Medium Ghanaian Enterprises (SMEs) by providing loans to import Italian equipment, and partially national items. The GPSDF works through a Facility Management Unit (FMU) and a Joint Management Committee (JMC). The representatives of the Ghanaian and Italian Governments head the JMC and coordinate the activities of the FMU. The loans have been granted in favour of the SMEs through the local financial institutions, subject to previous approval by the JMC with the assistance of the FMU. The GPSDF has already funded 46 investment projects, and it is in need of holding a raising awareness campaign promoting the progress and the results achieved.
PURPOSE OF THE SERVICES:
The purpose of the services is to create the raising-awareness materials according to the requirements and under the coordination of the FMU of the GPSDF. The assignment requires the ability to understand the need of the employer to promote the visibility and the communication about the results achieved and the activities carried out by the GPSDF. The officers of the FMU will coordinate and assist the selected suppliers informing about the companies’ locations whose projects shall be considered for filming the video documentary.
VIDEO-DOCUMENTARY MAKING. Filming a documentary about the GPSDF activities and results achieved, in English language, which shall include interviews in Italian to Italian entrepreneurs operating in Accra, subtitled in English (for the Italian contents and interviews an Italian-English speaking specialist will assist the video-making team). The video documentary shall have a length of approximately 20 minutes. The starting price for offers is 30,000 Ghana Cedis, quotations with a higher amount will be excluded by default.
SPECIFICATIONS
The offers will be assessed considering the best correlation between the quality and the prices quoted. The FMU of the GPSDF reserves the right not to award any of the services advertised for whatsoever reason, without notice and without any commitments or responsibility towards the candidates who applies.
REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience in providing services within similar assignments (e.g. development aid, emergency relief, or social projects) will be positively evaluated. It is required to meet the deadline of 4-week time from the quotation acceptance, for final delivery of the materials created through the work carried out.
