Chief Executive Officer at The Malala Fund

The Malala Fund empowers girls through education to achieve their potential and positively impact their communities.
31 million girls are not enrolled in primary school and a much larger number are not learning basic literacy and numeracy skills. Education is the right of every child, and educating girls delivers transformative economic, health, and social benefits to the girls themselves, their families, and communities.
The Fund is seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial, and committed Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
In close concert with Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Malala Yousafzai and the Board, the CEO will:
  • advocate for policy and funding changes that result in millions more girls receiving a quality secondary education
  • direct investment in community-led, scalable solutions that achieve real results in increasing quality girls’ secondary education
  • amplify the voices of girls globally to advocate for quality education and demand change in their own countries
The successful candidate will have at least 15 years of experience demonstrating dynamic and innovative leadership in global organizations or corporations. S/he will be skilled in the use of media and digital in building campaigns and social movements, and be passionately committed to the advancement of girls everywhere. The CEO will have demonstrated success in organizational and financial management and strategic planning.
This position will be located in London, UK.
