Plan are recruiting for an Design and Monitoring and Evaluation Manager to lead the development and roll out Plan Egypt’s M&E framework and systems to ensure quality implementation of its country strategic plan. Responsible for building the capacity of field based Monitoring & Evaluation teams through technical advice and coaching, you will facilitate the development of M&E systems in collaboration with the Head of Programmes. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in promoting programme quality and reflective practices, getting involved in the design of new programme initiatives and contributing to the design and development of new funding opportunities.
This position is contingent on donor funding.
You will have demonstrable progressive programme management experience and be able to evidence your success in regards to design, monitoring and evaluation for development and complex emergency response. With innovative programme design skills you will have relevant sector knowledge and a clear understanding of rights based programming. A proven leader you will have experience building capacity of staff and facilitating effective team management.
Type of Role: 3 year fixed-term contract
Location:Based from Plan Egypt Country Office with approx 25% travel to the programme areas.
Reports to: Head of Programmes
Salary: $45,000-$50,000 per annum. This is an accompanied position and a full expat package will be available.
