Pre-Feasibility Study for New Programmes in Application of Irrigation Based on Groundwater in Western Egypt
Natural Resource Management Specialist
Education
- S/he will have at least Master's Degree in agronomy or any related field.
Experience
General Professional Experience
- At least 6 years of extensive experience in the design and implementation of natural resource management projects, in at least of the two following sectors: water management, irrigation, land rehabilitation; soil fertility, residues and biomass, fertilisers and pesticides.
Specific Professional Experience
- Experience in working with Government officials through at least one international funded project.
- At least 3 years' experience in at least two of the following: post-harvest/agro-processing needs assessment analysis, participatory approach based Natural Resources Management development, preferably in Egypt.
- The expert shall be fluent in oral and written English. Knowledge of Arabic would be an asset. Professional experience with MS-Office is required.
- Knowledge of the Egyptian context will be an asset.
Language and computer skills
- Expert should be fluent in oral and written English.
- Excellent computer skills are required.
