Responsibilities:
CARANA Corporation seeks a Chief of Party/Project Director to provide overall leadership management and general technical direction of programs, ensuring an integrated vision among different components and actors, and a focus on achieving the results. This individual will be expected to identify issues and risks related to program implementation in a timely manner, and suggest appropriate program adjustments.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree;
- Minimum of 15 years of experience working on economic growth related issues including trade, access to finance and market linkages of which at least 3 years should be in Africa;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Experience working overseas on development initiatives;
- In-depth understanding of trade issues in Africa;
- Prior Chief of Party experience is desirable;
- Fluency in English required.
