The LCT/Zone Productivity Program Leaders drives programs to improve the business profitability, acting on both variable and base cost productivity. He contributes to redesign the operations organization and lead programs to both increase the operations value-added and reduce the cost-to-serve. He has a dual mission. He leads Zone major productivity initiatives (pitcher) and ensures operationalization in its LCT of the other Zone initiatives (catcher). | |
• As pitcher leader, he leads program definition & planning with the operation owners to ensure operational excellence and KPI improvement. He leverages operational and global resources (such as sourcing, logistics, parts, S&A) to design better way to operate with the right quality and the right cost. He ensures execution & reporting across Zone. • As LCT/catcher enabler, he coordinates with LCT operation owners the local execution of the other Zone initiatives. • Is responsible to deliver productivity as defined in the Sales & Sales Operating plan with the support of the LCT Operation Director & staff. • Defines and implements the productivity strategy across Zone Operations organization with a specific focus on its LCT. • Partners with Global and CoE teams, works with Zone/EAGM process owners (Sales & Service Operations and Commercial) and other Productivity Team Members to identify simplification and growth/savings opportunities for the organization and implement optimized solutions. • Develops profitability analysis and business cases, manages assigned programs and is co-responsible with the operational owner for achieving the designated results (Operational Margin impacts within budget constraints). • Develops project funnel and plans and owns implementation. Project control, coordination, testing, documentation and hands over to operations. • Sets up/implements regular and ad hoc reports to track results or identify improvement opportunities. • Aware of and complies with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position. Promptly escalates any quality, compliance, and integrity concern. • Bachelor's Degree – Business, Finance, Commercial, or Engineering. • Successful experience with cost management, and/or in process improvements / productivity role, leading comprehensive, high profile projects and/or quality initiatives within complex and/or matrix organizations. • Creative Problem Solving –Strong analytical skills demonstrating ability to identify root causes of problems; generate & evaluate creative alternative solutions; lead for fast and efficient execution • Good interpersonal skills, with evidence of teamwork and collaboration. Strong communication skills synthesize complexity & communicate into simple messages. Effective benefit-oriented presentation & influencing skills. • Experience interfacing with both internal and external customers in finding value added solutions to improvement opportunities.
