Norlhais a non-profit, non-political, non-religious association based in Lausanne, Switzerland, that supports remote communities in the Himalayas in building capacities that will allow their sustainable development, through integrated projects in food security, income generation and environment protection, with a strong focus on supporting women. Currently Norlha is reaching 2 persons to replace current staff members in HQ Admin and HR Department:
HR Officer
Volunteer/Internship 2 positions
The HR Officers have the crucial role of supporting the Head of the department in a variety of on-boarding - off-boarding and compensation administration tasks, recruitment and confidential information management. She or he will be a key person in an internal and external communication and HR representative in public events. This is an excellent position to experience the work of a dynamic, professional and growing organisation.
Mission and activities
- Management of the staff register and provision of the necessary tools
- Create the email addresses
- Add information to the staff lists and organizational chart
- Informing new staff and the team
- Contract management
- G-drive access management
- Creation of salary slips and other relevant documents on the regular basis
- Administration of social charges and insurance
- Full life in house recruitment: sourcing, selecting, communication, interviewing
- Representation and recruitment in the events
- Support team in other tasks when needed
Candidate Profile
- Very good organisational skills
- Knowledge of general IT tools and fast learner
- Experience with salaries or other HR tasks
- Education in administration, HR or similar domain
- Team player and able to work autonomously
- Respectful and at easy in the communication
- Fluent or advanced level of French and at least intermediate of English

HOW TO APPLY:
Duration and working time: minimum 6, preferably 9 months or longer. 50-30%
This part-time, long-term volunteer position is not paid and an applicant must have a currently valid working permit in Switzerland
Location: Home base with possibility to come to Lausanne at least 2 a month
