Samoa Tuna Processors located in Pago Pago, American Samoa, is now a wholly owned subsidiary of TriMarine International. Recently there has been significant investment to create a world class storage and processing facility that will provide a variety of seafood products to both the North American and other markets. The commissioning and operation of the new facilities requires a Financial Controller.
In the role of Financial Controller, you will work in conjunction with local management and report back to the Global Head Office in Seattle, Washington. The role is completely responsible for all aspects of optimising management accounting, costing, budgeting and utilises a full suite of Great Plains software.
Professionally, you will need to be appropriately qualified and eligible for membership of a recognised accounting body with ten or more year’s senior management experience. In a personal sense, the opportunity to be based in a Pacific location will draw upon your cultural sensitivity, self-reliance and natural inclination towards staff mentoring and development.
A remuneration package will be negotiated and include a combination of salary package and expatriate benefits.
