The focus of the Partnership Manager would be to strengthen SCI Mozambique ability to deliver on partnerships along the lines of the SC Partnership Principles, Global Partnership Framework, Quality Framework and funding members’ programming priorities.
****Specific tasks:****
- Leads the organization of a Partnership assessment of SCI in Mozambique
- In coordination with Sector Heads and Provincial mangers, develops and keeps an updated Partners' mapping by sector and by provinces;
- Support PDQ and OPS teams in identifying and develop contacts with potential partners;
- Identify innovative partnerships within the Private Sector / Universities and CSOs in liaison with SCI network;
- Support and give technical input into the development of the newly suggested partnership strategy for the Mozambique country programme;
- Organize timely Partners' capacity assessments and partnership reviews;
- Support and give technical input into any follow up actions from the partnership review including on the development and application of a strategic approach to partnerships in the Mozambique country programme as well as quality aspects of partnerships in general;
- Support and give technical input into the development of operational guidelines for partnership management;
- Facilitate and support experience sharing in the areas of Partnership and civil society development as well as capacity strengthening;
- Keep updated records of all past and current SCI in Mozambique partners and provide support to the PDQ department in building relevant institutional set up at proposal development stage;
- Support the Mozambique country programme in documentation of added-value and innovation in selected partnerships;
- Support the Mozambique country programme in strengthening their reporting on and documentation of capacity strengthening initiatives with partners;
- Liaise with the regional office and SCI members and participate in relevant working groups to ensure strategic and systematic partnership approach is being pursued (Partnership Principles, Global Partnership Framework and Global Audit standards).
- Liaise closely with Awards team to follow up partners' performances;
- Train SCI staff and partners on partnership management;
Liaise with the regional office to ensure the Partnership strategy is aligned with Save the Children Nordic members, civil society development thinking and SCI partnership management thinking (Partnership Principles, Global Partnership Framework and Global Audit standards).
