Flying administration coordinator (M/F)

As an administration coordinator, you define and implement the financial (budgets, cash flows, accountancy), administrative and HR management in the country where you are affected. Under the responsibility of the general coordinator, you lead directly an administrative team and you supervise administrators, in link with field or program coordinators.
For more than 30 years, Médecins du Monde, a campaigning medical organisation committed to international solidarity, has been caring for the most vulnerable populations at home and abroad. It has continued to highlight obstacles that exist in accessing health care and has secured sustainable improvements in health-for-all policies. Those working for this independent organisation do not solely dispense care and treatment but condemn violations of human dignity and rights and fight to improve matters for populations living in precarious situations. MdM currently works in 40 countries across all continents where it focuses on 4 priority areas: caring for the health of migrants and displaced persons, promoting sexual and reproductive health, combating HIV and reducing the harm and risks associated with drug use, crises and conflicts.
International missions are managed by the International Operations Department (DOI in French acronym) based in Paris, in connection with actors in the field and associative managers. Consisting of 75 people, the DOI is divided in 3 geographical units for long-term missions and 1 emergency unit. It also includes an analysis, technical support & advocacy unit and teams dedicated to logistics, institutional development and secretary. In this context, we are looking for several flying administration coordinators.
Integrated in a flying coordinators pool, you will carry out short missions in the field (3-6 months) for evaluations, mission openings or closings, replacements and supports. In very different fields, you will carry out:
  • The general administration of the mission
  • The HR management
  • Annual budget definition and financial plans
  • Accountancy, budgetary and financial management - Financial reporting to the donors

You have a proven experience administrative coordination in the field with NGO's (2 years minimum) You have worked with accounting and budget management You have a good command of IT tools and SAGA software You are able to manage a team and to work with diplomacy You have finely communication skills You are organized, reactive and adaptable
Languages: Fluent English and French (oral and written) mandatory Spanish or Arabic would be an asset
