This is the job 
The Rockwool Group recognises the importance of price management and is aiming to develop best in class price management skills and a coherent and consistent pricing process. The Group Pricing Expert will lead these initiatives, define the key performance indicators of price management and establish the process across the business units and regions. The Group Pricing Expert is located in Denmark.

Main activities and responsibilities

• Responsible for analysis and continued development of pricing intelligence and recommendations;
• Lead development, implementation, and tracking of margin optimizing projects;
• Conceptualize how new business processes and technologies can better support the business environment and pricing needs. Develop and implement new pricing tools and processes;
• Create new tools and processes to ensure optimal customer pricing. Partner with business units and regions to drive success;
• Develop materials and provide training sessions for the Sales teams;
• Anticipate and understand short and long-term market trends. Use this information to develop and implement pricing strategy for optimal gross margin;
• Performance management, monitoring of relevant KPI's and management information (forward and backward looking) on group level and ensure that targeted opportunities are being delivered;
• Responsible for the consistency of pricing policies and ensure alignment with relevant departments and other organizations.

This is what you offer

• You have a university degree in Economics or Business Administration;
• A minimum of 5 years work experience (ideally in a commercial environment) in a multinational company or in a consultancy company specialized in Pricing Strategy;
• You have previous experience in pricing roles;
• Experience of working in multi-cultural teams and environment;
• Strong analytical and strategic skills;
• Process management skills;
• Well structured, with a systematic and methodical approach;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills;
• Commercial orientation;
• Persuasiveness and decisiveness;
• Highly proficient in MS Office applications;
• You are fluent in the English language;
• Prepared to travel extensively;
