Two Assistant Professorships in Sociology
Salary is competitive with Departments at our peer institutions worldwide and not less than £51,908 pa inclusive. The posts will commence in September 2016.

These posts will be a key part of the further development of LSE Sociology and will strengthen our research and teaching in (i) economic sociology and (ii) race and ethnicity/ politics and human rights. Both posts are expected to have expertise in quantitative and/or qualitative research methods.  
Candidates should have a completed PhD by the time the post begins, the potential to publish with the best journals or book publishers, and a commitment to high quality teaching. Informal inquiries should be directed to Head of Department, Professor Mike Savage, M.A.Savage@lse.ac.uk.
