Business Support Manager
Oxfam South Sudan is looking for an experienced Business Support Manager to provide strategic lead for the programme’s Business Services functions to ensure provision of quality support to all operations in country.
This is a key role on the Senior Management Team to provide strategic overview and management of Finance, Logistics and IT, to ensure that Oxfam’s South Sudan programme has the required business structure, resources and technical capacity to manage in a complex environment.
The role will work in coordination with the Regional office and will ensure the programme is efficient and compliant with all organisational standards of management and accountability and to develop cost effective and compliant frameworks and coordinate implementation of initiatives that will promote maximisation of impact from limited programme resources.
Essential to the role will be the ability to foster effective links between Programmes and Support services to ensure seamless coordination and support to programme management and to influence innovative approaches to operations management in order to achieve organisational effectiveness. This will include designing systems and tools that promote internal and external accountability in financial management, logistics and systems especially in line with Oxfam's merging needs.
To be successful you will need to have a strong background in managing business support functions within large or complex organisations. You will have strong people management skills with the ability to provide leadership, direction and support, to drive change and to fuse diverse teams in challenging environments.
You will have strong interpersonal, communication and relationship skills with ability to influence external organizations and individuals. You will have the ability to operate and think strategically, coupled with proven analytical skills and the use of these to problem solve and make decisions.
You will have experience of working in the NGO sector, ideally in a humanitarian context, and a good understanding of managing in emergencies or development environments and experience in fast-paced and difficult contexts will be required for this role.
A professional qualification, degree or MBA in finance, accounting, administration or equivalent experience is required.

Duration: 12 months, with possibility to extend
