Qualifications and skills
A Master Degree (or equivalent) in law, political science, public administration or a relevant, directly related discipline.
General professional experience
- Experience in monitoring and evaluation and excellent report writing skills.
- Excellent command of the English language, both orally and written.
- Demonstrable ability to write in plain language.
- Previous experience with the human rights based approach to development.
Specific professional experience
- At least 15 years experience in anti-corruption, accountability and/or environmental governance.
- At least 10 years experience in designing, developing and conducting training activities on anti-corruption, public financial management, accountability, environmental governance or similar, related issues.
- At least 10 years experience in training and training of trainers.
- Experience with civil society, the media and Parliaments. Experience with civil society, the media and Parliament in West Africa will be a distinct advantage.
- Extensive experience anti-corruption bodies. Previous experience as a member of an anti-corruption commission will be an advantage.
