Restless Development is the national banner carrier for youth-led development. Restless Development (Sierra Leone) has been operating in Sierra Leone for almost a decade, working with and for youth to implement some of the country’s flagship youth-focused programming. Within the context of the current Ebola outbreak in Sierra Leone, Restless Development is drawing on its knowledge of communities, expertise in community engagement and large network of alumni to be at the forefront of the social mobilization efforts in the country.
The Investment and Partnership Manager will work closely with the Country Director, Head of Operations, Management Committee and the country programme staff to implement the global/country programme funding raising and donor relations activities. The summary of the role of the Investment and Partnership Manager are as stated below:
With the support of the team, the Investment and Partnership Manager will:
- Lead the development of the National Fundraising Strategy, which will be designed in line with the targets set out in the Country Programme National strategic framework.
- Lead efforts to develop funding partnerships across a range of sectors in Sierra Leone, as relevant to the Country Programme National Strategic Framework
- Lead efforts to generate adequate funding to ensure full implementation of the National Strategic Framework, through working with the Management Committee in proposal development processes
- Support annual planning and budgeting processes for Sierra Leone Country Programmes
