Roles and Responsibilities
URC is recruiting for a Technical Director/Community Mobilization and Engagement Advisor for an upcoming integrated health services delivery program in Malawi. This individual must assist the Deputy COP in the design, roll-out and day to day management and implementation of community mobilization and engagement activities, including WASH activities. S/he must have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Social Sciences or a related field;
- Minimum eight years’ experience with progressively increasing responsibility for designing, managing and implementing complex, community mobilization and engagement, including WASH, programming in developing countries involving multiple stakeholders and implementing partners; experience in Malawi highly desired.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in building community capacity to provide health services.
- Demonstrated management skills, including relevant experience in direct supervision of professional staff.
